Born into royal Benin Kingdom families on both sides, her name Adesuwa means “born into prosperity,” given because she was born on the same day her father received a major promotion, marking her as a child of destiny and favor. Despite enduring significant hardship in her childhood, Adesuwa rose above her circumstances and pursued education relentlessly. She became a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, dedicated to helping others heal from trauma and mental illness. She is happily married with four children.
